The Network Delivery Branch engaged Jacobs to supply Engineering (Track) personnel to act as the Project Engineer (PE).
The PE reviewed design and construction documents and provided technical input during the design and construction stages to ensure assets complied with Australian and PTA standards, including the PTA Engineering Management for Projects (EM4P) Procedure and Project Requirements Specifications.
Contracts for specialist track-engineering roles were structured to secure engineering consultancies able to provide on-project project engineers to verify compliance with national and PTA engineering standards.
