Hume City Council awarded a contract to 2Construct Pty Ltd for the main works of the Craigieburn Park Project, comprising three parts: Part A – Northern Landscaping Main Works (athletics track and landscaping), Part B – Athletic Pavilion (approximately 260 square metre sports pavilion), and Part C – Southern Main Works (regional Aquatic and Leisure Centre and southern landscaping).
The project is part of a $48.5M park development on Central Park Avenue, Craigieburn, designed by Peddle Thorp Architects.
Early works, including bulk excavation and two carparks, were tendered separately.
The playspace in the central part of the site is on hold pending discussions with a third party and may be a negotiated addition to Part A.
