Award of Craigieburn Park Main Works (Parts A, B & C) to ADCO Constructions

About

Hume City Council awarded a contract to ADCO Constructions (VIC) Pty Limited for the main works of the Craigieburn Park Project on Central Park Avenue, Craigieburn.

The contract covers three distinct packages: Part A – Northern Landscaping Main Works, including construction of an athletics track and landscaping on the northern part of the site with an events area; Part B – Athletic Pavilion, an approximately 260 square metre sports pavilion; and Part C – Southern Main Works, comprising the regional Aquatic and Leisure Centre and landscaping of the southern part of the site.

The overall park project is valued at $48.5 million, with early works already tendered and completed, involving bulk excavation and two carparks.

The central playspace is on hold pending discussions with a third party and may be negotiated as additional work for the Northern Landscaping Main Works contractor.

Peddle Thorp Architects designed the park and associated works.
