The contract covered design, construction and commissioning of a new water supply bore; upgrades to the existing power generation plant, including provision and installation of new generators and fuel storage; and repairs and upgrades to the existing high-voltage/low-voltage (HV/LV) power distribution network.
The award consolidated design, construction and commissioning responsibilities for both water supply and power generation/distribution upgrades in the Wurankuwu community, centralising contractual responsibility for the new bore, generators and fuel storage, and HV/LV network repairs under a single supplier.
