About
Department of State Growth awarded a contract to Mersey Bus & Coach Pty Ltd for a general access bus service between Sheffield and Devonport (via Railton and Latrobe).
The contract commenced on 19 January 2020 for an initial five-year term with a five-year extension option.
Initially, three return journeys on weekdays and two on Saturdays were required, with no Sunday or public holiday services.
From 19 April 2020, a new timetable requiring three return journeys daily including weekends and public holidays was implemented.
