About

Power and Water Corporation awarded a contract to Consort Civil Pty Ltd for water pressure management works at Atitjere (Harts Range).

The contract addressed community-reported low pressure in elevated lots; Southern Region operations carried out pressure testing to validate the concerns.

Testing showed Power and Water services were not meeting the Indigenous Community Engineering Guidelines (ICEG) requirement of a 12-metre head.

Preliminary investigations identified a previously decommissioned, nearly new pressure pumping system installed in Hermannsburg as a potential option to restore a minimum 12-metre head across affected lots.
