Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions awarded a contract to Boab Fencing (Boab Fencing holdings pty ltd) for the replacement of boundary fencing at the Broome office, 111 Herbert Street, Broome.
The works included removal of existing fences, block curtain walls, and gates, and installation of a 2100mm high garrison style fence along Herbert and Robert Street boundaries, with two pairs of 4M double gates (8M opening) and two pairs of 3M double gates (6M opening).
Adjoining boundaries received a 2100mm high Good Neighbour Cyclonic fence.
This contract reflects typical infrastructure maintenance for government depots in remote areas, often awarded to local fencing specialists.
