About
Department of Transport and Main Roads awarded a contract to Boral Asphalt for sealing and asphalt works at the Maryborough-Hervey Bay Road intersection with St Helens School entrance.
The contract involved the supply, cart, heating, and spraying of 7,500 litres of bitumen emulsion for primer sealing, hiring of spreader trucks, and various applications of medium duty dense graded asphalt totalling approximately 3,410 tonnes across different courses.
RoadTek was responsible for traffic management and survey set-out, while testing was the responsibility of Boral Asphalt.
All work complied with the TMR Standard Specifications.
