About
Power and Water Corporation awarded a contract to Fred (NT) P/L for the construction of a new Sewer Pumping Station 3 (SPS 3) and rising main in Milingimbi, an Aboriginal community in the Northern Territory.
The project supports a joint $4 billion investment by the Australian Federal Government and Northern Territory Government to improve housing and alleviate overcrowding in remote Aboriginal communities.
The new infrastructure will service a proposed subdivision in a greenfield area, conveying sewage to existing waste stabilisation ponds.
