The works were delivered on DBCA-managed lands with a significant portion located within the road reserve of Ocean Reef Upper Swan Highway (H069 / Ocean Reef Road) managed by Mainroads WA, and required adherence to all MRWA approvals and requirements.
The project was jointly funded by DBCA and MRWA, and was managed as a single project by DBCA but separated into two project areas determined by the land manager to manage approvals, contract management, asset management, and financial reporting.
The contract scope was split into two main areas, each with separate engineering sets and written specifications: Perry’s Paddock Access (land managed by Mainroads WA) and Perry’s Paddock Car Park (land managed by DBCA – Yellagonga Regional Park).
The award reflected a multi-agency, jointly funded infrastructure delivery requiring a contractor capable of meeting separate engineering specifications and MRWA approval processes for works within a road reserve.
