About
Moira Shire Council awarded a contract to O’LOUGHLIN EXCAVATIONS PTY LTD for the construction of a concrete footpath along the Murray Valley Highway in Yarrawonga.
The project involved building approximately 470 meters of footpath, 2.5 meters wide, covering a total area of 1,175 square meters on the north side of the highway from Silverwoods Boulevard to about 40 meters west of Botts Road.
Works included excavation and removal of the existing granitic sand walking track, installation of rock, and construction of the concrete footpath.
This contract reflects the council's investment in pedestrian infrastructure to improve safety and connectivity in the region.
