Gippsland Water awarded a contract to Jaydo Construction for the construction of a 5.15 km water distribution main around the western edge of Traralgon.
The Major Works Contract covered installation by a combination of open trench excavation and trenchless techniques.
The new distribution main varied in size from 300 mm to 750 mm internal diameter and included bore works sleeved in DN1200 reinforced concrete (RC) encasing pipe.
