About
Department of Infrastructure, Planning and Logistics awarded a contract to Solar Energy Management Group Australia Pty Ltd for the design, supply, installation and connection of two separate photovoltaic (PV) solar power systems totalling not more than 80kWh at Stuart Park Primary School in Darwin.
The systems are grid-connected and replace an existing 6.84kWh system.
The scope also includes installing new roof access to each rooftop platform per AS1657, and providing rooftop safety points and walkways to assist installation and future maintenance.
This contract reflects the Northern Territory government's commitment to renewable energy in public infrastructure, with a focus on safety and compliance standards.
