About
Department of Logistics and Infrastructure awarded a contract to Scott Hammet Building and Carpentry Pty Ltd for the design and construction of new security fencing to replace existing perimeter fencing at the NTES Darwin Unit on Reichardt Road, Darwin.
The works replaced the old fence and specified a fence with a 2280 mm tail, a maximum 1800 mm height of trim deck wall cladding, and three rows of barbed wire along the top.
The award to a building and carpentry firm reflected a requirement for a contractor capable of integrated design-and-construct perimeter security works meeting specific dimensional and anti-intrusion specifications.
