Main Roads Western Australia awarded a contract to Enviro Infrastructure (Enviro Infrastructure Pty Ltd) for the dismantling and demolition of Bridge 0629 over Walgoolan Bridge (S.G.
Rly) on the Great Eastern Highway (H005, SLK 291.26) in the Wheatbelt Region.
The scope included removal of guardrail; excavation behind abutments and demolition of the existing approach slab; demolition of end diaphragms and the deck; demolition of columns to ground level; removal of existing rock protection; and excavation of embankment within the rail corridor.
The contract specified B1 and R1 pre-qualification for dismantling and demolition works.
