About
Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions awarded a contract to SMC Marine Western Australia (SMC Marine Western Australia Pty Ltd) for the removal of approximately 2,000 m3 of sand from around the Penguin Island jetty to a depth of approximately 2 metres below the level of the jetty deck.
The sand removed from around the jetty was transported and placed on the eastern beach (north and south of the jetty), approximately 100 metres from the dredge area.
