Department of Health and Human Services awarded a contract to Symbion Pty Ltd t/a Symbion Hospital Services for a three-month extension of the existing warehousing, distribution and imprest services contract for the Tasmanian Health Organisation - South.
The extension continued storage, stock distribution and imprest (on-site small stock) services to support hospital operations and was granted to enable the department's tender process to be finalised.
The three-month extension maintained continuity of critical medical supply logistics while procurement concluded, reducing the risk of supply disruption during the tendering process.
