Programmed Facility Management awarded a contract to West Coast Construction Group (The Trustee for Macbond Trust) for the removal of selected existing fencing and the installation of new hot dip galvanised garrison perimeter fencing and gates at the Statewide Services Centre – Padbury on behalf of the Department of Housing and Works and the Department of Education.
The works were completed in accordance with the project drawings and fencing specifications and included posts, footings, hardware, finishes, and provision of manual and automated swipe-access gate options as specified.
Programmed Facility Management acted as the contracting agency for the departments.
The award reflected a facilities-management procurement model where a specialist contractor was engaged to deliver perimeter-security civil and metalwork (posts/footings, hot-dip galvanised fencing) and integrate both manual and automated gate options per detailed project specifications.
