Programmed Facility Management awarded a contract to AHS Services WA Pty Ltd for the installation of 96 upper bunks in existing cells at Casuarina Prison.
The work comprised installing 96 additional bunk beds across units 15, 16 and 17 and was to be carried out in accordance with the scope, specifications and drawings detailed in Annexure 1.
Programmed Facility Management had managed the procurement on behalf of the Department of Finance and the Department of Justice.
The procurement was managed by a facilities management provider on behalf of government agencies to appoint a specialist contractor for custodial cell fit-out works, reflecting a common approach to upgrades that increase accommodation capacity within existing correctional facilities.
