Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment awarded a contract to ValueIt Pty Ltd for the provision of 2016 statutory valuation services for the Glenorchy Municipal Area.

The contract required fresh valuations as at 1 July 2016 for about 21,500 properties across three valuation bases: Land Value, Capital Value and Assessed Annual Value.

ValueIt prepared correspondence and reports arising from objections and queries and, if required, prepared proofs of evidence for court-related actions.

The scope included statistical analysis, property reviews, investigations and inspections, and preparation and submission of project plans, documentation and regular reports.

The contract also included an option to undertake supplementary valuations to 31 January 2017 on a fixed fee schedule covering Land Value, Capital Value and Assessed Annual Value, together with associated correspondence, reports and potential court evidence.
