About
Department of Logistics and Infrastructure awarded a contract to Agon Environmental Pty Ltd for the provision of asbestos management services across whole-of-government assets for a 36-month panel.
The panel of asbestos assessors undertook site inspections and asbestos surveys (including reaudits) to identify asbestos in assets, and conducted sampling and testing.
Assessment results and related information were entered into the preferred online portal system (Octfolio).
All asbestos works were required to adhere to the Work Health and Safety (National Uniform Legislation) Act and Regulations and to the Northern Territory Government Conditions of Contract.
The contract standardized asbestos surveying, sampling and data capture across government assets through a single portal (Octfolio) and contractual WHS requirements, supporting consistent regulatory compliance and centralized asset records.
