About
(inactive) Department of Local Government, Sport and Cultural Industries awarded a contract to The Chamber of Arts and Culture WA (The Chamber of Arts and Culture WA Incorporated) for the provision of event management and video production services for the State Cultural Treasures Awards 2024.
The contract covered organisation, delivery and audiovisual documentation of the Awards, which acknowledged and celebrated the diversity, talent and contributions of individual Western Australian artists.
The Awards were held at the Minister for Culture and the Arts' discretion, with an inaugural ceremony in 1998 and subsequent ceremonies in 2004, 2015 and 2022.
The procurement specified event management and video production to support staging and recording of the Awards.
The contract engaged a Western Australian incorporated arts-sector organisation to deliver event and production services, supporting the state's program to recognise senior local artists and to sustain the intermittent series of State Cultural Treasures Awards.
