About
Western Australia Police Force awarded a contract to Bug Busters Pty Ltd (Bug Busters Pty Ltd ATF The Bugbusters Unit Trust) for external mosquito spraying at the Maylands property until the end of April 2025.
The contract covered treatment of harborage sites including building exteriors, eaves, walls, lights, garden beds, bushes, shrubs, hedges, and shady or damp areas around buildings, stables, paddocks, and the large bush area at the rear of the property.
All trees and vegetation were required to be thoroughly treated, ensuring spray penetration of entire plants/trees and coverage of both leaf surfaces at the highest mix rate.
A combination of backpack sprayers and ultra-low volume (ULV) equipment was employed.
