The Department of Tourism and Hospitality awarded a contract to Alice Springs Reptile Centre Pty Ltd for the provision of all-hours snake call-out services in Alice Springs, Northern Territory, for a period of 21 months.

The contractor is required to liaise with Parks and Wildlife, deliver the 'Living with Wildlife' message, and provide professional direct response services 24/7, including weekends and public holidays.

The contractor must hold a Permit to Take Protected Wildlife and demonstrate ability in reptile identification and welfare practices for capture, husbandry, euthanasia, and release.

Reporting on retained animals and submission of return information for all animals taken is required.
