About

Department of Justice awarded a contract to Southern Cross Cleaning Services (DRD Partnership T/AS Southern Cross Cleaning) for the provision of specialist biological and forensic cleaning services for domestic crime scenes on an ad hoc basis for the Office of the Commissioner for Victims of Crime.

The contractor was required to remove and decontaminate biological matter and fluids, clean items and areas that had been treated with chemicals by Forensic Officers, and dispose of items deemed unsalvageable due to chemical or biological contamination.
