The works improved road safety by preventing flooding and ponding at M074 6.50 SLK Mandjoogoordap Drive Roundabout and on Lakelands Lake Clifton Road outbound and northbound lanes.
The scope comprised installation of junction pits with pipe culverts including apron slabs and tie-ins to existing junction pits; removal of redundant ACO kerbs and collapsed paving; installation of new reinforced kerbing; and reinstatement of asphalt and brick paving.
The contract required R1 prequalification.
The contract required R1 prequalification and was awarded to Civcon Civil & Project Management Pty Ltd, reflecting procurement of an R1‑prequalified civil contractor to deliver targeted drainage, kerbing and pavement reinstatement works on a state-controlled road in the South West Region.
