About
Department of Logistics and Infrastructure awarded a contract to Chubb Fire & Security Pty Ltd for the provision of an emergency and after‑hours answering service and security alarm monitoring service covering all Northern Territory Government assets for a period of 36 months.
The contractor was required to carry out 24‑hour security alarm system monitoring from a currently certified ASIAL A1‑graded Security Monitoring Centre; monitor electronic security systems; receive calls from departmental staff and the public regarding faults, problems and incidents affecting NT Government assets; and log, report and action those calls and transmissions for prompt rectification.
The contractor was also required to provide day‑to‑day information on call outs, alarm activations and alarm status changes as requested and to perform the work detailed in the contract specification.
