About
Transport for NSW (Legacy Transport Infrastructure Projects) awarded a contract to Transport for Tomorrow for the Rail Infrastructure Upgrade (RIU) for Electrical Work (EW) under the More Trains, More Services program.
The scope included signalling upgrades (design, modification, installation, testing, commissioning, and decommissioning), station lighting upgrades, platform extensions, design and installation of station and stabling yard car markers, changes to stabling yard infrastructure for refuelling, provisioning, and access (including Elevated Safe Access Platforms), and electrical upgrades to existing distribution boards.
This contract is part of a major state-wide program to increase train capacity and reliability, with Transport for Tomorrow being a key infrastructure contractor in New South Wales.
