About
Latrobe City Council awarded a contract to Evergreen Turf for the redevelopment of Ted Summerton Reserve in Moe under the state government-funded Regional Sports Infrastructure Program.
The works comprise two separable portions: a construction works package including a new pavilion, refurbishment of amenities in the existing main pavilion, construction of media areas and outdoor undercover terrace areas, oval lighting and video scoreboard, and utilities upgrades; and an oval works package including refurbishment of the oval surface and wicket table, reconstruction of oval drainage and irrigation, construction of cricket sight screens and ball stop nets, and demolition and reconstruction of existing player benches.
This contract reflects the ongoing investment in regional sports infrastructure, with a focus on upgrading facilities to support events and community use.
