About
Western Australia Police Force awarded a contract to West Coast Construction & Demolition (The Trustee for Macbond Trust) for the refurbishment of Rooms 15 and 16 in the Maylands Countering Violent Extremism (CVE) Unit.
The works included installation of a new kitchenette in Room 15 with associated water, drainage and power services, and conversion of Room 16 into a new quiet room with relocation of the TV/video conferencing equipment, relocation of air-conditioning, and provision of power and data as required.
The contract combined plumbing, electrical, HVAC and audiovisual relocation tasks and was delivered by a specialist construction and demolition contractor, reflecting procurement of building-services refurbishment rather than IT or equipment-only procurements.
