About
Racing and Wagering Western Australia awarded a contract to OPRA Projects (OPRA Group Australia Pty Ltd) for the refurbishment of its head office at 14 Hasler Road, Osborne Park, WA.
The circa 3,000m2 building, built in the 1980s, required significant internal demolition, structural works, creation of a new floor void and stairs, relocation of an existing passenger lift, and fit-out.
The project also included supply of new furniture and installation of reused furniture and AV equipment.
The contractor was required to maintain access, power, internet, air conditioning, and fire services to occupied areas throughout the works, maximize available car bays, and coordinate with the consultant and IT teams to build a new main comms room around the existing one before ground floor demolition.
