(inactive) Department of Agriculture and Food awarded a contract to south east scaffold (grazby pty ltd) for the construction/replacement of a 16km section of the State Barrier Fence, using materials already purchased and supplied by DAFWA.
The fence replacement started approximately 20km west of Koolyanobbing Rd.
and 45km north of Southern Cross, heading northwesterly for 16km to Evanston Road, northeast of Bullfinch.
Construction was to be completed before 31 July 2016.
This contract supports agricultural biosecurity by maintaining the State Barrier Fence, which protects livestock from wild dog incursions in Western Australia's pastoral regions.
