About
North East Water awarded a contract to Civil and Earth Australia Pty Ltd for the replacement of the effluent outfall pipeline at the Wodonga Wastewater Treatment Plant.
The project involves design and construction of a new 900mm diameter pipeline approximately 1.22km long, including an outfall structure at the Murray River, upstream tie-in, waterway crossing, associated valves and fittings, testing, commissioning, operator training, site restoration, and decommissioning of the existing 450mm pipeline.
This contract addresses capacity constraints and regulatory compliance for treated effluent discharge, critical for environmental protection and future growth in the Wodonga region.
