About
Public Transport Authority awarded a contract to Dowsing Group (Dowsing Group Pty Ltd) for resurfacing and pavement reconstruction of the existing Armadale Line station carparks at Challis Station, Seaforth Station, Sherwood Station and Kenwick Station.
The works addressed significant deterioration including numerous potholes, severe cracking, structural pavement failures and extensive kerb damage, and were intended to restore the carparks to a safe, durable condition and to meet Disability Discrimination Act (DDA) standards.
The contract required the works to be scheduled during a period of low patronage to reduce user impact and to prevent further deterioration.
