Forest Products Commission awarded a contract to Better Firewood Supplies (WJ & BD Elliott Pty Ltd) for the sale of 800 tonnes per year of Jarrah fresh green firewood logs, 100 tonnes per year of Jarrah bole residue logs, and 100 tonnes per year of Wandoo bole residue logs.
This contract supports sustainable forestry by commercializing residue logs, which might otherwise go to waste, and provides a steady supply of firewood to the market.
