Knowledge areas included passive infrastructure, environmental systems, BMS, facility security, back-of-house systems (nurse call, duress), LAN/WAN, telephony/mobile in-building services and paging/messaging; Cisco SDA was listed as desirable.
The engagement combined building‑services and network architecture responsibilities, indicating CHIIP required multidisciplinary expertise to align physical facilities, environmental and security systems with clinical ICT network and telephony requirements.
