About

You will provide support to young people in the catchment area who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.

You will provide services to young people in a manner consistent with the Guidelines for Service Delivery: Youth Housing and Reintegration Service (YHARS) including After Care Service (October 2017), including the provisions outlined in relation to the use of brokerage.

While these Guidelines limit expenditure to up to $3,500 per individual per year, under this contract this amount is increased to $5,000.

Any proposed expenditure beyond this amount may be considered by the department on a case-by-case basis for young people with challenging and complex needs.

However, before seeking approval to use additional funds, You must first explore other funding sources.

You must also use the Queensland Homelessness Information Platform (QHIP) when supporting services users to access accommodation.

YHARS SRS The Youth Housing and Reintegration Services Service Record System (YHARS SRS), an online client management system, is provided to funded YHARS to support record keeping and data collection in relation to Service Users.

It is acknowledged You have Your own version of this system based on the YHARS SRS, applying the same counting rules for reporting to Us.

You must provide access to Us to Your system no later than 31 December 2024 so We may view de-identfied data for contract management and program reporting purposes.
