About
Rottnest Island Authority awarded a contract to Vexa Engineering (MMB Engineering Pty Ltd) for the detailed design, procurement, construction and commissioning of a new gas chlorination system to chlorinate excess recycled water stored in Tank 6 prior to its return flow to the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).
The work was delivered to enhance the Authority's capacity to provide increased volumes of chlorinated recycled water by implementing chlorination of Tank 6 storage.
The contract scope covered detailed design, procurement of chlorination equipment, on-site construction works and system commissioning.
