Public Transport Authority awarded a contract to Jason Signmakers (Galena Nominees Pty Ltd) for the supply and installation of a range of bus shelter types.
The contractor supplied and installed bus shelters under the direction of the PTA and/or the PTA’s nominated Concrete Contractor, and was engaged to provide these services for a range of different projects over the contract term.
The contract used a panel approach under which bus stop sites were to be issued based on the suitability of particular shelter designs and value-for-money principles.
The procurement used a panel and site-allocation model prioritising design suitability and value for money, favoring suppliers able to deliver multiple shelter types and coordinate with the PTA and nominated concrete contractor.
