Stadiums Tasmania awarded a contract to Round Table Studio for the Silverdome Redevelopment - Audio Visual, Supply and Installation of Video Cube (STRFT06).

In 2024 the Tasmanian Government committed $12 million to the Silverdome redevelopment, which aimed to increase venue patronage and deliver a 'fan first' patron experience; provide capacity to host NBL games as the Northern home of the JackJumpers; deliver functional and integrated facilities for stadium management, tenants, hirers, patrons and the local community; support attraction of major events to Launceston and related economic opportunities; maximise financial returns for arena stakeholders; ensure an accessible and economically sustainable venue; maintain access for community sporting and cultural events; and minimise operational and financial impacts during the redevelopment.
The awarded contract specifically covered the supply and installation of a video cube as part of the arena's audiovisual upgrade.
The contract award underscored the redevelopment's emphasis on audiovisual enhancements to improve the fan experience and support the Silverdome's role hosting NBL fixtures and attracting larger events.
