Western Australia Police Force awarded a contract to Grycol International Pty Ltd for the supply and delivery of up to 381 AR15/M4-.223 firearm system long arms in two configurations, including one Armourers tool kit, one spare parts kit, ad hoc spare parts, train-the-trainer courses for up to 25 officers, and post-warranty servicing.
The contract also includes an option for trade-in or sale of existing WA Police firearms.
This contract standardizes the WA Police's long arm firearms, replacing an aging mix with a single system, which simplifies training, maintenance, and logistics.
