Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment awarded a contract to Nichols Excavations for the supply and delivery of gravel for three portions of the Three Capes Track on the Tasman Peninsula.
The contract covered approximately 882–1,084 tonnes of gravel to be supplied and delivered to support establishment of the multi-day bushwalking track.
The project was subject to the approval of the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Public Works, and further portions of the walking track were to be tendered separately.
