Department of Education awarded a contract to Aurora Energy Pty Ltd for the supply of retail electricity services and associated services to a consortium of Tasmanian Government agencies comprising the Department of Primary Industries and Water, Department of Police and Emergency Management, Department of Economic Development and Tourism, Department of Education, Department of Justice, and Tasmanian Polytechnic.

The contract covered the provision of approximately 92.2 GWh of electricity to the sites identified in the request for tender, including approximately 140 Tranche 4 sites and 30 Tranche 3 sites.
