About
Department of Training and Workforce Development (DTWD) awarded a contract to Afgri Equipment Pty Ltd (T & H Walton Stores Pty Ltd) for the supply of a new tractor (155HP to 195HP) with cab and front end loader, including trade-in of an existing John Deere 6930 tractor.
The contract also covers removal of two-way radio and precision agricultural technology from the old tractor and installation into the new one, as well as demonstration of operations to farm staff.
Delivery and removal were required prior to 31 August 2017.
This contract reflects the ongoing need for agricultural training institutions to maintain modern, precision-capable equipment, with trade-in provisions reducing procurement costs.
