About
Department of Police, Fire and Emergency Management awarded a contract to TyreMarketers T/A Beaurepairs for the supply of tyres and associated tyre services to its vehicle fleet.
The contract covered provision of tyres and tyre maintenance services for the Department’s fleet of 449 registered vehicles, which comprised 325 passenger cars, 24 light trucks, 100 4WDs and 92 boat/box trailers.
The procurement had a preference for appointing a single service provider able to support the mixed fleet, and addressed ongoing tyre supply and service requirements as the fleet changed in line with operational needs and technology.
