About
Department of Logistics and Infrastructure awarded a contract to DAC Enterprises Pty Ltd for upgrading the existing 4-way intersection of Stuart Highway, Warrego Road and Kaczinsky Road in Tennant Creek.
The scope included realignment of Warrego Road and Kaczinsky Road, construction of two new staggered T-intersections with the Stuart Highway, channelised left and right turn lanes, and street lighting.
The project was part of the Road Safety Program to improve intersection safety and support mining activity in the region.
This contract reflects ongoing investment in road safety upgrades in remote mining regions, with local contractor DAC Enterprises securing the work.
