About
Department of Energy, Environment & Climate Action awarded a contract to Alluvium Consulting for water resource modelling services to test the benefits and impacts of various scenarios for water allocation in the Latrobe River system.
The project supports the Latrobe Valley Regional Rehabilitation Strategy (LVRRS) Implementation Action 3 by helping the Government understand implications of water access conditions for future water entitlements.
A key output is a non-technical report for publication with the LVRRS review.
This contract reflects the government's focus on integrating water resource management with mine rehabilitation, a critical step in post-mining land use planning in the Latrobe Valley.
