Alexandrina Council is seeking a consultant to prepare concept designs and detailed, tender-ready documentation, including cost estimates, for two projects to be delivered under a single engagement: the Rotary Park and Fairfield Reserve outdoor gym equipment renewal in Strathalbyn, and the Langhorne Creek public playground renewal. For Rotary Park and Fairfield Reserve the scope includes assessment of existing outdoor fitness equipment and site conditions, development of concept design options suitable for community engagement, and preparation of detailed design documentation and cost estimates to deliver contemporary, accessible and durable outdoor exercise opportunities that improve safety, usability, visual presentation and long-term asset performance. For Langhorne Creek the scope includes site investigation, assessment of the existing playground and reserve context, development of concept design options suitable for community engagement, and preparation of detailed design documentation and cost estimates to deliver a contemporary, inclusive, safe and durable play space that responds to community needs, improves accessibility and play value, and supports long-term asset sustainability. Services must be provided in accordance with the Specifications in Section D of the RFT and Council will enter into an agreement with the successful tenderer.
