Far North Queensland Ports Corporation Ltd (Ports North) is seeking a long-term co-investment partner through an Expression of Interest to deliver the Cairns Marine Precinct Common User Facility following joint Australian and Queensland Government announcements on 17 June 2026. The facility will expand the precinct’s capacity and capability to support increased vessel maintenance, repair and overhaul activity across government, commercial, tourism, superyacht and specialist marine markets and enable long-term private sector participation in a strategically located maritime hub; prospective investors, developers, operators and marine industry participants are invited to engage with Ports North.
