About

Mount Alexander Shire Council is seeking a suitably qualified consultant to deliver a comprehensive flood study and develop conceptual flood mitigation designs for Main Road and adjacent tributaries in Campbells Creek township. The consultant must provide specialist expertise in flood modelling, hydraulic and hydrologic assessment, climate change adaptation, planning and conceptual engineering design to improve understanding of flood behaviour within the Campbells Creek catchment, including interactions between riverine flooding, stormwater runoff and tributary flows. The scope includes defining existing flood behaviour, identifying and evaluating measures to mitigate and manage flood risk—such as recommendations for flood planning overlays, reviewing the performance of existing drainage and investigating potential mitigation works—and other related tasks as detailed in the specification documents.
